Maternity session in Toronto studio

I’ve had the pleasure of working for the second time with Danielle and Andrew! Last year I photographed their wedding and this year it was Danielle’s maternity session.

She contacted me because they wanted to do a lifestyle maternity session in a park in Toronto. That was back in April and if you live in Toronto, you know that April can be a cold, moist and ugly month.

Because of that, I suggested doing a Maternity Session in studio, instead. We talked about what she had in mind and I designed a personalized session for her.

Danielle arrived first in the studio do to her makeup and hair with Robson while we enjoyed a nice talk over cookies and chocolates!

We started the photoshoot with a more neutral makeup to match the first outfit followed by a more glam look. Andrew joined us a little later for some photos together.

We played with tulle for the first creative shots, making her look like a fairy – isn’t she gorgeous?

In the second round of creative portraits, we used this crown that Robson made (yes, he is very creative and design beautiful headpieces!) and OMG Danielle was a goddess, she was stunning!

We were very happy with the results and the prints look absolutely fantastic – like an art piece!

You can have the same experience Danielle and Andrew had! See yourself in a way you’ve never seen before; reconnect with the person you see in your portraits, and be awed by them again!
